Our most experienced game rangers take you into South Africa’s largest game reserve, the Kruger National Park in specially modified open safari vehicles. This game reserve is unrivalled in its variety of wildlife and you will be sure to see a great many of them.

MORNING WALKING SAFARI

Guests are transferred to the Kruger National Park for a conducted walk with an armed ranger in the wilderness areas, renowned for its rhino population. A ‘Big Five’ sighting is always a possibility.

PANORAMA HIGHLIGHTS TOUR

We visit the charming village of Graskop before stopping to admire God’s Window. En route back to Hazyview, we visit the beautiful Lisbon and Berlin Falls.

ELEPHANT SAFARI

We visit Camp Jabulani in Kapama Private Game Reserve where you will experience an exciting elephant-back safari (duration approx 01h20). You will be seated on a comfortable canvas covered saddle, mounted behind an experienced elephant handler. This adventure allows you the opportunity of getting in close contact with wildlife. An unforgettable experience followed by a tour at the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre and brunch.

PANORAMA ROUTE

Drive along the Mpumalanga Escarpment on the way to view the beautiful rock formations of the Blyde River Canyon, Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and the boundless vistas of God’s Window and Wonderview. Visit Pilgrim’s Rest, a lovingly preserved mining village. View spectacular waterfalls along the way.

WILD HORSES & BLUE SWALLOWS

Depart Hazyview, via Nelspruit to the village of Kaapsche Hoop. After a short break we drive up to the Blue Swallow Reserve with a resident bird expert. Wandering around the town, you will encounter the many wild horses that roam free around the village. Visit local artists in their homes, watch them at work and maybe purchase a unique piece to take home! En route to Hazyview we stop in Nelspruit at the beautiful Lowveld Botanical Gardens.

ENDANGERED WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE

We visit the Moholoholo Rehabilitation Centre to hear experts explain the various rehabilitation techniques used on injured birds and animals. Stop for lunch at Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre before an educational tour of the breeding and research station.

VISTAS, BATS & VENOM

We visit the spectacular Blyde River Canyon before touring the Echo Caves, scene of ancient conflict between the Swazi’s and Pedi’s. Marvel at the amazing caverns before continuing onto Khamai Reptile Park for an educational insight into reptiles, crocodiles and amphibians.
